Art. 1 - General provisions

1.1 - Scope

These Terms and Conditions of Sale contractually bind our publishing house and its customers for any purchase made from PAPER - CUT editions. Should these Terms and Conditions of Sale be modified, those in force at the time your order is validated will apply to it.

1.2 - In the event of disputes

These Terms and Conditions of Sale and all the clauses set out herein are governed by French law. Should a dispute arise concerning the interpretation or performance of these Terms and Conditions of Sale, we favour resolving it through an amicable agreement between the parties. If no amicable agreement can be reached, disputes will nevertheless be brought before the competent courts.

Art. 2 - Orders

Your orders may be placed online at: https://www.paper-cut.fr

Art. 3 - Product availability

The availability of our works is valid for the entire time they are online, subject to available stock (except as noted below). Should our works be unavailable or their delivery delayed, our customers are notified by email within 30 days. If your payment has already been made, you may choose either to cancel your order (in which case it will be refunded in full) or to accept an extension of your delivery time. This reply must be sent by email within 30 days of receiving the email sent by PAPER - CUT editions in the event of a delay to your order or unavailability of the product ordered. If, after thirty days, we have received no reply from you, the product will be delivered within the new delivery times in the event of a delay. Your order will be refunded, in the event of product unavailability, if payment has already been made. This refund will be made directly to the bank account or PayPal account used for the purchase. In the event of complications, a cheque will be issued to the address specified when ordering.

Art. 4 - Prices and payment terms

4.1 - Prices

The prices of our books are those stated on our website (www.paper-cut.fr). These prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, subject to error. PAPER - CUT editions reserve the right to change the price of their works at any time. The price payable for an order is the one in force when the order is validated. Books are sold in compliance with the applicable provisions, and in particular with the Lang law on the single book price. In the event of delivery outside mainland France, any customs charges or local taxes are the customer's responsibility.

4.2 - Shipping costs

Our shipping costs are determined by the weight of the parcel to be sent, the possible use of very specific packaging, and the particular care that certain products may require, such as taking out an insurance contract.

4.3 - Payment terms

PAPER - CUT editions offer you payment for your order by bank card, through the companies Stripe or PayPal, which guarantee you complete payment security (secure entry using SSL encryption). To do so, fill in the form provided for this purpose, specifying your details as well as the data on your card (card number, security code and expiry date).

4.4. Delivery

Your orders are delivered to the address you specify. For any delivery address in mainland France, your parcel will reach you within 60 days at the latest from the date of your order. For any delivery address in Europe, your parcel will reach you within 60 days at the latest from the date of your order. For any other delivery address, your parcel will reach you within 60 days at the latest from the date of your order. In the event of loss, damage or theft of an order during shipping, PAPER - CUT editions cannot be held responsible.

4.5 Right of withdrawal

If your order does not fully satisfy you, you may return it within 7 days to the following address: 6 rue du Calvaire 44000 Nantes.
In the event of a book being returned, only the book will be refunded, not the return costs or the delivery costs. Your refund will be made by cheque, or possibly via PayPal or directly to the bank account used for the purchase.

Art. 5 - Complaints

For any complaint regarding our products, contact us by email at this address: bonjour@paper-cut.fr
The order covers only the works; there can be no complaint regarding any gifts that may accompany them.

Art. 6 - Liability

In the event of technical malfunction or misappropriation of information (linked to a computer failure), PAPER - CUT editions cannot be held liable. If data relating to the customer's order does not reach us, for whatever reason (connection problems or otherwise) or is illegible, PAPER - CUT editions cannot be held responsible. The books we offer comply with the laws in force in France; PAPER - CUT editions cannot be held liable if works ordered in a foreign country do not comply with the legislation of the country in question.

Art 7. - Data protection

The information requested from you on our website is confidential and, above all, necessary in order to handle your requests as effectively as possible and to improve the services we offer you there. The processing of your personal data is carried out in compliance with the French law of 6 January 1978 on data processing, files and civil liberties. You may access and rectify your personal data at any time.

Art. 8 - Customer acceptance

These Terms and Conditions of Sale are agreed to by the customer, who, by the act of purchase, acknowledges having been made aware of them and accepts them.
